Mirror Courses
Highlight a course at the course selection screen, then hold L1 + L2 and press X
Left or Right-Handed Golfer
When choosing a golfer, press R1+R2+L1+L2+Select+Start+X. This will change the golfer to opposite hand.
Alternate clothing
Press Triangle + Square + X while the Hot Shots logo is bouncing on the title screen. The girl at the main menu will be wearing different color clothing.
To enter cheat mode
Remove all memory cards from the PlayStation. Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 on controller two when the screen flashes just before the Hot Shots logo appears during the opening sequence. Keep those buttons held, and press Up(2), Down, Up, Left, Right(2), Left, Up(2), Down, Up, Left, Right(2), Left on controller two while the Hot Shots logo is in motion. The sound of a wood driver will confirm correct code entry. All golfers, courses, and challenge mode will be unlocked.
Easy hole-in-one
There is wood in the back of the second hole of the mini golf course. Position your golfer slightly to the right, so the wood can be seen through. Then, hit the ball at approximately 50% on the yellow background.
Sound test
Begin game play in multi-player mode. Press X, Triangle, Circle, or Square on the controller not currently in use to play various sounds.
In-game reset
Press L1 + R1 + L2 + R2 + Start + Select during game play.
Alternate clothing (Japanese version)
Press Triangle, Square, X, Triangle, Square, X, Triangle, Square, X, during the screen flashes before the Hot Shots logo appears during the opening sequence.
