Cheat mode
At the main menu, quickly press R1, Circle, Left, Triangle, Triangle.
Play As Apocalypse
Beat Battle Mode at any difficulty without having to continue and then highlight Akuma and press Select 7 times and press a kick or punch button.
Armored Spiderman
At the character selection screen, highlight Spiderman, hold Select and press any button.
Mephisto
At the character selection screen, highlight Omega-Red, hold Select and press any button.
US Agent
At the character selection screen, highlight M. Bison, hold Select and press any button.
Shadow
At the character selection screen, highlight Dhalsim, hold Select and press any button.
Dark Sakura
At the character selection screen, highlight Hulk, hold Select and press any button.
Mech-Zangief
At the character selection screen, highlight Blackheart, hold Select and press any button.
Play as Grey Hulk
Enable the "Play as Dark Sakura" code and pick Hulk as her partner. Note: This color code should be universal for all characters.
Play as Cyber-Gouki (Akuma)
Beat the Battle Mode at 8 Stars and without losing any rounds to enable Cyber-Akuma.Then highlight Akuma and press Select 5 times and any punch or kick button.
Play as same character
Beat the game once with any character. Then, the same character may now be chosen by both players on the character selection screen.
Exploding Dan
Hold WP after selecting Dan as your first character. Then, release the button after the word "Fight" disappears.
Extra jumps for Norimaro
Select Norimaro, then hold WK + MP + HK at the versus screen until the round begins. Norimaro will now be able to jump four times in the air.
Cheat Menu (Japanes ver.)
At the main menu screen, quickly press L1, X, Left, Square, Square.
Bonus options (Japanes ver.)
Beat the game without losing any rounds.
Play as your Second Character
When playing the Battle Mode, defeat the enemy and your chracter starts to do a winning pose, press the R2 button and in the next game you will fight as your second character.
Change order of characters on versus mode screen
Press WP + MP + HP.
Faster game speed
Select any character, then hold WK + MK + HK until the word "Fight" disappears.
Extra jumps for Norimaro
Select Norimaro, then hold WK + MP + HK at the versus screen until the round begins. Norimaro will now be able to jump four times in the air.
Akuma/Cyber Akuma/Dark Sakura's most powerful special
To do the most powerful special finishing moves for the three characters mentioned, just press... Square, Square, ->, X, R1. This move requires 3 special gauges for Dark Sakura and Akuma. Cyber Akuma only requires 1 special gauge. Pls note that this move cannot be executed in the beginner mode as it only allows 2 special gauge.
